Abstract

With a focus on continuing the dialogue between Gadamer and Aristotle which started in Truth and Method, in this article I complete the aesthetic landscape charted in the Nicomachean Ethics by Woods and Aoiz by exploring what I have termed subtilitatesin the Aristotelian notion of phronesis. This is thus an attempt to delimit the features which accompany the cognitive ability which enables practical and moral vision.
