Abstract

The article provides information about the coins minted on the occasion of the memory of Heydar Alirza oglu Aliyev, the national leader of the Azerbaijani people, world-famous personality. Since 2004, such coins of different denominations, produced in Great Britain and Austria mints, are engraved with attributes of statehood (map, flag, coat of arms) and the image of a genius. Such numismatic facts minted from precious metals in honor of the anniversaries of a prominent statesman, keeping his memory alive, are a legal means of payment in the Republic of Azerbaijan, but they are also used as gifts. Such national coins, minted according to high international standards, are also aesthetic relics that remind the activity of an unforgettable personality.
