Abstract

Quine is an author known by a series of thesis of logical-gnoseological character, that they lead to the negation of the objects of metaphysics . These theses culminate in the "deactivation of the ontology" . This article shows that the positions of Quine is tindeed a "procesual ontology", a metaphysics in strict sense. Beside s, the article tries to prove that the logic difficulties provoked by such theses, lead inexorably to absurd conclusions. This idea is against the ontology that Quine presented as a culminating piece of its system
