Abstract

The book Questions of Life is a confrontation with shallow and confused philosophical literature. From the human, and contemporary perspective, it tackles the topics given thought by the people from all times, which remain forever relevant. Savater is far from providing the right answers; rather, he raises new doubts, and questions the presupposed knowledge, warning us from the very beginning that philosophy cannot be taught, but only practiced. This, however, implies the ability of looking, posing the right questions and providing arguments.
