Pedagogical expediency and social significance of physical culture and sports events

Abstract

Physical culture and sport are the development of physical, aesthetic and moral qualities of a human personality, the organization of socially useful activities, leisure, disease prevention, education of the younger generation, physical and psycho-emotional recreation and rehabilitation, entertainment, communication. Without defining their content and scope, it is difficult to correctly understand many phenomena and issues of the theory and practice of physical culture, and the science that teaches the theory of physical culture cannot be successfully mastered.
