Abstract
This paper examines in detail the traditional Chinese thought, the relationship between moral and intellectual history of arbitrarily change the situation, specifically to explore the moral and intellectual relations in different historical periods shown by the different forms. This transition can be seen as unifying intellect with morality to ruling morality with intellect, and from improving morality with intellect to mediating morality with intellect. From this process, it has been shown that Chinese traditional thought has gradually become aware of the special value of the independence of knowledge in enriching and improving morality.
