Chuangtzu's Mythological Way of Thinking, the Self-Transcendency of His Cultural Psychology and Popular Belief
Abstract
Chuang Tzu is the best use of the ancient myth of the philosopher, one of his fables to inspire wisdom, myth and reveal the philosophy, in the outset of "Kun Peng of" the myth of the change, said the central idea is a self- beyond the spirit, and only the pursuit of all things deep-in-one can reach their level. Zhuangzi completion of the spiritual realm, in fact, the original beliefs were敎close relationship, Zhuangzi inherited the "Mountains and Seas" in the myth of the change, on the one hand to develop together with the deep things of the spirit of the system of self-transcendence; the other hand, He also thought the myth of primitive accumulation in the spirits were敎faith, and remain in today's folk beliefs. Chuangtzu was an ancient philosophers was good at using myth. He explored philosphical doctrine and revealed his wisdom through the use of allegory. In "Shiau-yau yu", he clearly explained the meaning of "K'un changes and becomes P'eng" , and declared its central thought to be the spirit of Self-transcendence. It could only be reached by seeking to become one with all thing. The completion of Chuangtzu's spiritual self-transcendence has a close relation with primitive religious belief. Chnangtzu inherited the myth of becoming in "Shan-hae Jing". From it, he developed the spirituality of self-transcendence through the union with all things. He also kept some of the ancient believes in ghosts and spirits; these believes are still alive in Chinese religions today
