Abstract

This paper aims to explore the future of modern architecture, Taiwanese architectural features innovative direction. Experienced through the study focused on the impact of Western modernism in Japan after the construction industry, how the monotony out of the international style to create modern architecture in Japan after the architectural features, and cited the creation of Tadao Ando, ​​to further discuss how the critical thinking regionalism, development architectural features of the possibility of Taiwan tomorrow. The essay is trying to discuss up-to-date innovation would be suitable for Taiwan characteristics of architecture after modernism. It focus on how to develop the possibility to create the characteristics for Taiwan local architectures through studying Japanese architectures which has gone through the influence from monotonous international style, and creating their own distinguishing feature. At the mean time, citing Tadao Ando's projects, we can go a further step to think deeply via the concept of critical regionalism
