Abstract

This book provides nursing administrators with an overview of approximately ten patient care delivery systems that address the professionalism of the nurse, role differentiation, The nursing shortage, nurse retention, costs of services, and consumer satisfaction. The advantages, disadvantages, resource requirements, and costs of each system are examined. The various systems are also compared.
