Contagion: Journal of Violence, Mimesis, and Culture 30 (1):v-v (2023)
Abstract
René Girard died in 2015; 2023 is the centenary of his birth. The fecundity of his thinking endures; his challenge remains the same. Do not reject the ambitions of Girard's ideas without testing them for yourself. If you find a side to his thinking that was not fully developed, don't waste time lamenting, get to work on it yourself and submit for review when it is ready.Links
