Abstract

The author, an M.D., is a graduate of Cornell Medical College and the William A. White Institute of Psychoanalysis and Psychiatry, who studied Chinese medicine in England, China, and New York and has been practicing it for 17 years. His lucid presentation provides a new model for appreciating the traditional Chinese healer's knowledge of individual integrity and energetic balance.
