In Giddens view, Marx in spite of the "human history" of the proposition, but did not make a clear proposition for their explanation. To this end, he cited decades of power, from the starting point of history, methods and results point of view of Marx's proposition to conduct a comprehensive interpretation. In his view, only after the Enlightenment, as "historic" development, human really began to consciously create their own history. "Duality of structure" is a basic form of human history, reflected in this way: given the social structure on the one hand the conditions of human history, on the other hand constitutes a constraint for this act of creation. In this way the history of creation, the community is not as envisaged by Marx and others become as abundant and free society, but a "risk society", "runaway world". Through the interpretation of Marx's proposition, Giddens has established a complete theoretical system, but also the intention of Marx's proposition caused distortion
