The voting by open lists: European experience and applicability in Ukraine

Abstract

The article gives a detailed analysis of the current mixed electoral system in Ukraine. The authors justify and highlight that open lists provide effective democratic way of electing process that ensures the equality of all applicants and real involvement of citizens in the selection of candidates.
