Uncommon Psychiatric Syndromes

Abstract

This new edition expands on the previous editions as a valued source of information regarding uncommon psychiatric syndromes. Each chapter goes into detail on the essential facts of the mentioned syndromes, thus giving the reader a clear understanding of the material. The last edition was well received and is widely considered a classic text for those in the field, though now it is an outdated source. Since the publication of the fourth edition, there have been many developments in the field of psychiatry, including changes in DSM-5, the advancement of neuroimaging and related research. Four new chapters will be added to the fifth edition and several new syndromes will be covered.
