"œRainer Maria Rilke: La poesí­a en la edad moderna"Para Rilke, como para Heidegeer, se vuelve problemático el ser de las cosas. Ya en 1912 escribí­a el poeta que, por ejemplo, las cosas trasladaban su esencia al dinero y se esfumaban en su esencia: y, después de un tiempo, el individuo desencantado se percata de que el dinero también se ha ido y la esencia de las cosas con él. El siglo XVI, en el que todaví­a el dinero era metal, oro, cosa preciosa, está ya muy lejos. Heidegger califica de profética esta idea: el poeta supo describir la nostalgia de las cosas por su ser perdido, de ahí­ la necesidad de detenernos un momento en sus versos para desandar el camino perdido del ser. Already in 1912, the poet wrote that, for example, things transferred their essence to the money and they disappeared then; and, after a time, the disillusioned individual notices that the money also has gone away and the essence of the things with it. The sixteenth century, in which the money still was golden and precious metal is already very far. Heidegger describes as prophetic this idea: the poet describes nostalgy of the things by its lost being. Here is the necessity to stop us a little while in his verses to retrace steps the lost way of the being.
