Abstract

Published in 1916, Pragmatism and Idealism is an important contribution to the philosophical debates of the early twentieth century. Caldwell explores the relationship between these two major schools of thought, arguing that they are not mutually exclusive but rather complementary approaches to understanding the world. This work has been selected by scholars as being culturally important, and is part of the knowledge base of civilization as we know it.
