Abstract

One of the main philosophical schools in the twentieth century is “analytic philosophy,” that includes different intellectual trends which cannot be grouped under one comprehensive heading. Therefore, it is difficult to define it comprehensively, as we will see. In spite of that, some of this school’s pioneers tried to define it comprehensively by reviewing some of its general characteristics, such as focusing on the "centrality of language", "logical analysis", "the use of mathematical logic or symbolic logic", "clarifying the complex concepts and removing ambiguity from them," besides other features. In its predominant direction, analytic philosophy tries to analyze language and clarify the logical structure inherent in it, besides clarifying its places of faults and slips by explaining the logical analysis of language and the right use of it. In terms of roots and origin, analytic philosophy relies on sensory empirical school, especially "logical positive philosophy". In this study, we have tried to show analytic philosophy, the most famous trends in it, study the effects that analytic philosophy leaves on religious knowledge at the level of.
