Abstract

Il saggio commenta le ultime due lezioni sull’essenza della religione nelle quali Feuerbach esprime il suo punto di vista maturo sulla questione dell’immortalità. Secondo l’autore Feuerbach ha aperto la strada al disincanto razionalistico e naturalistico e alla prospettiva di un’azione storica civilizzatrice, ma non ci aiuta a formulare domande che si pongono al di là del disincanto. La sua distinzione tra desideri contenuti entro i confini della necessità naturale e desideri che la trascendono è poco adatta a indagare il senso che il desiderio di immortalità può conservare in una cornice antropologica.This essay is a comment of Feuerbach's last two lessons on the essence of religion; wherein he explains his mature standpoint on the issue of immortality. The author thinks that Feuerbach's treatment is the fundation both of the rationalistic and naturalistic disenchantment of the world and of the possibility of an historical civilizing action; although Feuerbach viewpoint can not help us in thinking problems beyond the disenchantment. His distinction between desires internal to natural necessity and desires transcending natural necessity seems unfit to research the antropological meaning of the desire of immortality
