Abstract
The Department of Philosophy of Tulane University, with a grant from the Franklin J. Machette Foundation, announces a conference on Respect for Persons, 21-22 November 1981. Baruch Brody of Rice University and David Sachs of the Johns Hopkins University will be invited speakers. Interested persons are invited to submit papers for consideration for inclusion on the program. Papers must be on some aspect of the topic of respect for persons but may involve any philosophical method or approach. Papers should be limited to twenty minutes reading time. Three non-returnable copies should be submitted, typed, double-spaced, and in conformity with the Chicago Style Manual. Publication in a volume of Tulane Studies in Philosophy is planned for papers selected for the program. The deadline for submission of papers is 15 September 1981. Send papers and inquiries to: O. H.
