Summary By means of a „strategic game the present paper tries to answer the question of whether the so-called „trilemma of Münchhausen (H. Albert)as it stands is able to perform the twofold task of both refuting the methodology of foundationalismand of getting us thereby nearer to the methodology of „critical rationalism.
