Unary Interpretability Logics for Sublogics of the Interpretability Logic $$\textbf{IL}$$.Yuya Okawa - forthcoming - Studia Logica:1-29.
De Rijke introduced a unary interpretability logic $$\textbf{il}$$, and proved that $$\textbf{il}$$ is the unary counterpart of the binary interpretability logic $$\textbf{IL}$$. In this paper, we find the unary counterparts of the sublogics of $$\textbf{IL}$$.

Modal completeness of sublogics of the interpretability logic IL.Taishi Kurahashi & Yuya Okawa - 2021 - Mathematical Logic Quarterly 67 (2):164-185.
We study modal completeness and incompleteness of several sublogics of the interpretability logic. We introduce the sublogic, and prove that is sound and complete with respect to Veltman prestructures which are introduced by Visser. Moreover, we prove the modal completeness of twelve logics between and with respect to Veltman prestructures. On the other hand, we prove that eight natural sublogics of are modally incomplete. Finally, we prove that these incomplete logics are complete with respect to generalized Veltman prestructures. As a (...)

The fixed point and the Craig interpolation properties for sublogics of $$\textbf{IL}$$.Sohei Iwata, Taishi Kurahashi & Yuya Okawa - 2024 - Archive for Mathematical Logic 63 (1):1-37.
We study the fixed point property and the Craig interpolation property for sublogics of the interpretability logic \(\textbf{IL}\). We provide a complete description of these sublogics concerning the uniqueness of fixed points, the fixed point property and the Craig interpolation property.

Remedial Teaching and Learning From a Cognitive Diagnostic Model Perspective: Taking the Data Distribution Characteristics as an Example. He Ren, Ningning Xu, Yuxiang Lin, Shumei Zhang & Tao Yang - 2021 - Frontiers in Psychology 12.
In response to the big data era trend, statistics has become an indispensable part of mathematics education in junior high school. In this study, a pre-test and a post-test were developed for the six attributes of the data distribution characteristic. This research then used the cognitive diagnosis model to learn about the poorly mastered attributes and to verify whether cognitive diagnosis can be used for targeted intervention to improve students' abilities effectively. One hundred two eighth graders participated in the experiment (...)

Verbal Training Induces Enhanced Functional Connectivity in Japanese Healthy Elderly Population.Fan-Pei Gloria Yang, Tzu-Yu Liu, Chih-Hsuan Liu, Shumei Murakami & Toshiharu Nakai - 2022 - Frontiers in Human Neuroscience 16.
This study employs fMRI to examine the neural substrates of response to cognitive training in healthy old adults. Twenty Japanese healthy elders participated in a 4-week program and practiced a verbal articulation task on a daily basis. Functional connectivity analysis revealed that in comparison to age- and education-matched controls, elders who received the cognitive training demonstrated increased connectivity in the frontotemporal regions related with language and memory functions and showed significant correlations between the behavioral change in a linguistic task and (...)

on “The New Age in Japan.” The issue gives the non-specialist as well as the specialist an excellent opportunity to catch up with the latest in that classic homeland of new religions. The reader will quickly find that while the familiar new religions such as Tenrikyo and Soka Gakkai are still there, attention has moved to a newer set. These are frequently. [REVIEW]Recent Japanese New Religion, Okawa Ryuho & Kofuku no Kagaku - 1995 - Japanese Journal of Religious Studies 22 (3-4).
