    Becoming-Animal: Becoming-Wolf in Wolf Totem.Jing Yin - 2013 - Deleuze and Guatarri Studies 7 (3):330-341.
Wolf Totem is not a novel which advocates ‘molar’ wolf characteristics such as violence, brutality and bloodthirstiness, and ‘molar’ wolf laws such as the law of the jungle and the law of profiting at others’ expense, but a novel which reveals to readers a brand new life experience, different affects possessed by the ‘molecular’ wolf, and the becoming-wolf of human beings. Becoming-wolf is not to imitate the above-mentioned characteristics of the ‘molar’ wolf, but to see or imagine what affects the (...)

Branch-and-Reduction Algorithm for Indefinite Quadratic Programming Problem.Yongjian Qiu, Yuming Zhu & Jingben Yin - 2021 - Complexity 2021:1-14.
This paper presents a rectangular branch-and-reduction algorithm for globally solving indefinite quadratic programming problem, which has a wide application in engineering design and optimization. In this algorithm, first of all, we convert the IQPP into an equivalent bilinear optimization problem. Next, a novel linearizing technique is presented for deriving the linear relaxation programs problem of the EBOP, which can be used to obtain the lower bound of the global optimal value to the EBOP. To obtain a global optimal solution of (...)

The Effect of the Image of Destinations on Household Income and Distribution: Evidence From China’s Tourist Cities.Sheng Xu, Yunzhi Zhang, Jinghua Yin & Guan Huang - 2022 - Frontiers in Psychology 13.
This paper examines the effect of the image of destinations on the wage income of resident households, and the corresponding income inequality, from a novel perspective. This work uses China’s excellent tourism city image program, which is an urban planning policy implemented by the central government across cities to enhance the image of the city destination in the minds of tourists, and then promote tourist motivation and local tourism development to assess the effect on household wage income and its distribution. (...)

Does Early Exposure to Chinese–English Biliteracy Enhance Cognitive Skills?Jing Yin, Connie Qun Guan, Elaine R. Smolen, Esther Geva & Wanjin Meng - 2022 - Frontiers in Psychology 13.
Clarifying the effects of biliteracy on cognitive development is important to understanding the role of cognitive development in L2 learning. A substantial body of research has shed light on the cognitive factors contributing to biliteracy development. Yet, not much is known about the effect of the degree of exposure to biliteracy on cognitive functions. To fill this research void, we measured three categories of biliteracy skills jointly and investigated the effects of biliteracy skill performance in these three categories on cognitive (...)
