About Dark Energy and Dark Matter in a Three-Dimensional Quantum Vacuum Model.Davide Fiscaletti - 2016 - Foundations of Physics 46 (10):1307-1340.
A model of a three-dimensional quantum vacuum based on Planck energy density as a universal property of a granular space is suggested. The possibility to provide an unifying explanation of dark matter and dark energy as phenomena linked with the fluctuations of the three-dimensional quantum vacuum is explored. The changes and fluctuations of the quantum vacuum energy density generate a curvature of space–time similar to the curvature produced by a “dark energy” density. The formation of large scale structures in the (...)

  2. Perspectives of the Numerical Order of Material Changes in Timeless Approaches in Physics.Davide Fiscaletti & Amrit Sorli - 2015 - Foundations of Physics 45 (2):105-133.
Wheeler–deWitt equation as well as some relevant current research (Chiou’s timeless path integral approach for relativistic quantum mechanics; Palmer’s view of a fundamental level of physical reality based on an Invariant Set Postulate; Girelli’s, Liberati’s and Sindoni’s toy model of a non-dynamical timeless space as fundamental background of physical events) suggest that at a fundamental level the background space of physics is timeless, that the duration of physical events has not a primary existence. By taking into consideration the two fundamental (...)

    Bijective Epistemology and Space–Time.Davide Fiscaletti & Amrit Sorli - 2015 - Foundations of Science 20 (4):387-398.
A level of adequacy of a given model with physical world represents an important element of physics. In an “ideal” model each element in the model would correspond exactly to one element in the physical world. In such a model each element would have a direct epistemological correlation with exactly one element of the physical world. Such a model would become a perfect picture of the physical world. The possibility of misinterpretation, in a sense that one searches for physical existence (...)

Is a theory of everything possible? Critical reflections and variations on the theme.Davide Fiscaletti - 2021 - Science and Philosophy 9 (2):137-160.
The evolution of the history of physics shows how natural phenomena can be grouped into discrete regimes, between which there are precise relationships and specific connecting elements but which, with an excellent approximation, can be considered independent of each other. Here it is clarified, in the light of developments in contemporary physics, in what sense theory of everything means "theory that aims to explain a specific and limited level of energy", highlighting the link between the world we experience daily and (...)

From Bohm’s Vision of Quantum Processes to Quantum Field Theory... to the Transactional Approach. Variations on the Theme. [REVIEW]Davide Fiscaletti - 2022 - Foundations of Physics 52 (3):1-25.
The vision of quantum physics developed by David Bohm, and especially the idea of the implicit order, can be considered the true epistemological foundation of quantum field theory and the idea of a quantum vacuum that underlies the observable forms of matter, energy and space-time. Assuming the non-locality as the crucial visiting card of quantum processes, it is thus possible to arrive directly to the transactional interpretation and to the idea of a non-local quantum vacuum in which the behaviour of (...)
