Rationing of nursing care, a deviation from holistic nursing: A systematic review.Lata Mandal, Avudaiappan Seethalakshmi & Anitha Rajendrababu - 2020 - Nursing Philosophy 21 (1):e12257.
BackgroundRationing of care in nursing is nurses' inability to complete all care activities for patients because of scarcity in time and resource. Literature suggests that rationing of care is closely related to patient safety and quality of care. The phenomena have been defined and studied from varied perspectives and contexts. A systematic review of studies related to the concept was aimed at identifying and synthesizing the finding.MethodsThe review followed Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta‐analysis guidelines, and literature searches (...)

Coercion, Consent and the Forced Marriage Debate in the UK.Sundari Anitha & Aisha Gill - 2009 - Feminist Legal Studies 17 (2):165-184.
An examination of case law on forced marriage reveals that in addition to physical force, the role of emotional pressure is now taken into consideration. However, in both legal and policy discourse, the difference between arranged and forced marriage continues to be framed in binary terms and hinges on the concept of consent: the context in which consent is constructed largely remains unexplored. By examining the socio-cultural construction of personhood, especially womanhood, and the intersecting structural inequalities that constrain particular groups (...)

A Simple Chaotic Wien Bridge Oscillator with a Fractional-Order Memristor and Its Combination Synchronization for Efficient Antiattack Capability.Anitha Karthikeyan, Karthikeyan Rajagopal, Victor Kamdoum Tamba, Girma Adam & Ashokkumar Srinivasan - 2021 - Complexity 2021:1-13.
Memristor-based oscillators are of recent interest, and hence, in this paper, we introduce a new Wien bridge oscillator with a fractional-order memristor. The novelty of the proposed oscillator is the multistability feature and the wide range of fractional orders for which the system shows chaos. We have investigated the various dynamical properties of the proposed oscillator and have presented them in detail. The oscillator is then realized using off-the-shelf components, and the results are compared with that of the numerical results. (...)

Making Politics Visible: Discourses on Gender and Race in the Problematisation of Sex-Selective Abortion.Aisha K. Gill & Sundari Anitha - 2018 - Feminist Review 120 (1):1-19.
This paper examines the problematisation of sex-selective abortion (SSA) in UK parliamentary debates on Fiona Bruce's Abortion (Sex-Selection) Bill 2014–15 and on the subsequent proposed amendment to the Serious Crime Bill 2014–15. On the basis of close textual analysis, we argue that a discursive framing of SSA as a form of cultural oppression of minority women in need of protection underpinned Bruce's Bill; in contrast, by highlighting issues more commonly articulated in defence of women's reproductive rights, the second set of (...)

The term Kathakali has by far become a word that is known widely among theatre lovers all over the world. It is no longer an art intended to perform within the four walls of a temple in Kerala, with only a limited educated upper class to appreciate. In its evolution, it has become a symbol that represents a society, culture and tradition. This paper explores Kathakali art form, tracing its origin and evolution and analyzing how it hasbecome a socio-cultural icon. (...)
