Abstract

/// This article reviews statements of relevant philosophers of the XIIIth century supporting the existence of agent intellect in the human being. Three philosophers can be distinguished in the purified and advanced aristotelism: Peter of Spain, Saint Albertus Magnus, Saint Thomas Aquinas. Their common and capital thesis is that the object of the intellectus agens is God.
