Abstract

The "Introduction to José Lezama Lima's poetic system" attempts an approach to the construction of thought based upon the Cuban writer's poetry, as well as to its appropriation and shaping of the world. The poetic system will be explored as a whole standing body. Besides, some inevitable questions about the links between the poetic and the systematic will try to be answered: how do these two contrary states dance? And how does a poetic system attempt to embrace the world as a whole?
