Kelly O'Connor ‐ welcome me back to the world of the thinking emotions, being strange and remarkably cogent things the most rational among us ‐ made vulnerable and rendered practically helpless emotions like fear, depression, curiosity, uncertainty, desire ‐ leading to meaningless despair relentless pursuit of knowledge and belief in Ipsa scientia potestas est whole God/Jesus/Christianity ‐ a mere sentimental fodder compelled to faith ‐ based on argumentum ad ignorantiam Christian apologetics ‐ trying to “prove” the historical reliability of gospels We alone choose to act or remain silent ‐ in change or accept stagnancy
