Abstract

Previous chapter Eurhythmy as Due Proportions – Vitruvius' De architectura Marcus Vitruvius Pollio was an architect, as well as a civil and military engineer. He served under Caesar as senior officer of artillery, probably as head of the experts and in charge of the soldiers operating the machines.
