Abstract
The article is about the development of civil society in Ukraine in the context of its interaction with the state. The article examines the theoretical, conceptual and practical aspects of the interaction between state and civil society in Ukraine. The problem of civil society is an important issue in modern political and social processes, and its development determines the quality and stability of social relations inside the state. Author at this article tries to explore the problems and obstacles of the development of civil society. This article is based on studies of various wellknown authors, as well as personal approaches and conclusions regarding the subjects of the study. The author also uses statistical data and materials that characterize the civil society and its interaction with the state. Based on statistics, theoretical and conceptual information, the author has outlined his own vision of solving the problem of interaction between state and civil society. As very important point appears provision and development of the newest form of interaction between the state and civil society, which is called functional interaction. Such kind of interaction between the public and civil sphere is backed by principles of selforganization, selfregulation, proportionality and mutual integration.
