Trois incriptions trouvées au cours de la récente fouille sous-marine franco-grecque du port antique de Thasos sont publiées ici : il s'agit de bases de statues en l'honneur d'un philosophe, d'un évergète et d'un patron de la cité ; ce dernier appartient à la famille du grand Pompée.

Les anses d'amphores timbrées ne permettent guère, à elles seules, de retracer l'histoire du commerce du vin et de l'huile dans le bassin égéen. Une comparaison entre les différentes catégories d'anses timbrées puis entre une collection d'anses timbrées et un lot d'amphores complètes trouvées dans les mêmes conditions le montrent amplement (les exemples sont pris à Délos et à Alexandrie). Seule l'étude de l'ensemble des amphores, qu'elles soient estampillées ou non, permet des considérations d'ordre historique.

Ή επιφανειακή έρευνα πού αποσκοπούσε στην ανεύρεση εργαστηρίων παραγωγής αμφορέων στην Δυτική Κρήτη, μας επέτρεψε νά διακρίνουμε 4 τύπους αμφορέων ρωμαϊκής περιόδου. Τήν άνθιση πού παρατηρούμε στην παραγωγή καί εξαγωγή του κρητικού κρασιού, μαρτυρούν επίσης καί οί αρχαίες πηγές. Έκτος από μιά πρώτη τυπολογία θά βρούμε επίσης καί μιά λεπτομερή περιγραφή των εργαστηριακών εγκαταστάσεων καί τής κεραμεικής παραγωγής πού βρέθηκαν κατά τή διάρκεια τής ανασκαφής στό Καστέλλι Κισσάμου.

Dans une première partie sont présentés les résultats d'une troisième et dernière campagne de prospection en Crète, consacrée à la partie orientale de l'île : deux ateliers ampho- riques ont été découverts, à Trypitos et à Lagada, et l'on dispose d'éléments suffisants pour localiser d'autres ateliers à Makry Ghialos, Aghios Nikolaos et Hiérapétra. Dans une seconde partie, nous essaierons de tirer quelques enseignements à l'issue de ces prospections qui ont permis de découvrir une vingtaine d'ateliers dans l'ensemble de l'île, avec (...) huit types amphoriques assurément crétois. Ces ateliers domaniaux sont liés à des villas qui exploitent la vigne à des fins d'exportations massives. Situé près d'un lieu d'embarquement qui permette un chargement facile des innombrables amphores destinées au commerce lointain, l'atelier répond aussi aux besoins de la villa en céramique commune et fine ainsi qu'en éléments architectoniques (briques, tuiles, hypocaustes, σφήνες). On en retire l'impression d'une vitalité économique à partir du Ier s. av. n. è., au moment où le vignoble italien semble connaître une certaine stagnation au profit des crus provinciaux. (shrink)

Faisant suite à celles réalisées en Crète occidentale (BCH 113 [1989], p. 551-580), l'Éphorie des Antiquités d'Hérakleion et l'École française d'Athènes ont mené en collaboration en 1989 des recherches sur les ateliers de fabrication d'amphores de Crète centrale, dont l'activité s'échelonne entre l'époque hellénistique et l'époque impériale. On a ainsi localisé de nouveaux ateliers et réexaminé des ateliers déjà connus à Hérakleion, Chersonisos, Tsoutsouros (Inatos), Kératokambos et Dermatos. L'étude typologique permet d'affirmer que différents types d'amphores pouvaient être fabriqués dans le (...) même atelier. On a identifié trois nouveaux types, qui ont coexisté en Crète centrale avec tous les autres types déjà connus. L'étude concerne également d'autres productions des mêmes ateliers (vases, tuiles, etc.) et aborde quelques aspects techniques (supports de vases, ratés de cuisson, parois vitrifiées de fours). Ή V. Grâce πρότεινε νά ταυτιστεί ό Ζήνων πού εμφανίζεται στά σφραγίσματα αμφορέων τοΰ ναυαγίου τοΰ Serçe Limam (γύρω στό 280-275 π.Χ.), μέ τόν επίτροπο της δωρεάς τοΰ 'Απολλώνιου, τόν Ζήνωνα τών 'Αρχείων της Φιλαδέλφειας. Αυτή ή πρόταση παρουσιάζει πολλές δυσκολίες : τυπολογικές, γιατί άμφορεΤς καί σφραγίσματα μοιάζουν πολύ μέ τήν κνιδιακή ομάδα τοΰ Σωφάνη (ή προέλευση Ιχει επιβεβαιωθεί άπό τήν ανακάλυψη τοΰ εργαστηρίου Muhaltepe στή χερσόνησο Datça), γεωλογικές, καί τέλος χρονολογικές γιατί τήν εποχή του ναυαγίου, δ Ζήνων ό Καύνιος (...) ήταν τό πολύ 10 ετών. Μία κνιδιακή προέλευση αύτης της ομάδας Α τοΰ Ζήνωνα φαίνεται σάν τή λύση πού αρμόζει καλύτερα. Σέ δύο παραρτήματα συγκεντρώνονται μία περιγραφή τοΰ εργαστηρίου τοΰ Σωφάνη στό Muhaltepe καί Ινα «corpus» τών σφραγισμάτων αύτης της ομάδας. (shrink)

Une rapide prospection a permis de localiser six ateliers amphoriques à Paros et deux à Naxos. Cette découverte a permis de préciser les conditions d'installation de ces poteries, de caractériser les argiles employées, de tenter une première esquisse typologique des amphores de Paros (époque hellénistique et impériale) et de Naxos (IVe siècle) et enfin de se fonder sur les échantillons provenant de ces ateliers pour identifier leur composition par thermoluminescence et les comparer avec d'autres vases provenant de sites de consommation.

Le petit lot de lampes corinthiennes du 11e et me siècle de notre ère qui sont publiées dans cet article provient du site de «Kritika», appartenant au cimetière Nord de Corinthe. Leur présentation est suivie de quelques remarques générales concernant leur diffusion en Grèce et en dehors de celle-ci (illustrée par deux cartes), les ateliers de fabrication (origine des potiers, organisation interne, relations entre les ateliers, commercialisation des lampes), leur présence dans les tombes.

We present the logic K/2 which is a logic with classical implication and only the left part of classical negation.We show that it is possible to define a classical negation into K/2 and that the classical proposition logic K can be translated into this apparently weaker logic.We use concepts from model-theory in order to characterized rigorously this translation and to understand this paradox. Varying objects trace how generalization rules are used along a demonstration in an axiomatic calculus. We present a single sequent calculus common to classical, intuitionistic and linear logics. The main novelty is that classical, intuitionistic and linear logics appear as fragments, i.e. as particular classes of formulas and sequents. For instance, a proof of an intuitionistic formula A may use classical or linear lemmas without any restriction: but after cut-elimination the proof of A is wholly intuitionistic, what is superficially achieved by the subformula property and more deeply by a very careful treatment of structural rules. This approach is radically different from the one that consists in “changing the rule of the game” when we want to change logic, e.g. pass from one style of sequent to another: here, there is only one logic, which—depending on its use—may appear classical, intuitionistic or linear. The hexagon of opposition is an improvement of the square of opposition due to Robert Blanché. After a short presentation of the square and its various interpretations, we discuss two important problems related with the square: the problem of the I-corner and the problem of the O-corner. The meaning of the notion described by the I-corner does not correspond to the name used for it. In the case of the O-corner, the problem is not a wrong-name problem but a no-name (...) problem and it is not clear what is the intuitive notion corresponding to it. We explain then that the triangle of contrariety proposed by different people such as Vasiliev and Jespersen solves these problems, but that we don’t need to reject the square. It can be reconstructed from this triangle of contrariety, by considering a dual triangle of subcontrariety. This is the main idea of Blanché’s hexagon. We then give different examples of hexagons to show how this framework can be useful to conceptual analysis in many different fields such as economy, music, semiotics, identity theory, philosophy, metalogic and the metatheory of the hexagon itself. We finish by discussing the abstract structure of the hexagon and by showing how we can swing from sense to non-sense thinking with the hexagon. (shrink)
