    A Paramecium cell has a stereotypically patterned surface, with regularly arranged cilia, dense‐core secretory vesicles and subplasmalemmal calcium stores.     The ciliated protozoan, Paramecium, broadcasts the activity of its individual ion channel classes through its swimming behaviour.
