Abstract

This paper analyzes Augustine's "Confessions," Volume 2 "stealing pears" This incident linked with theological reflection, focus on that with "Genesis," Adam and Eve violated God's command regarding the similarity, so that the incident in Augustine the overall philosophy of God to get a deeper understanding. In this paper the author analyses the relationship of the event of stealing pears in Augustine's De Confessiones and his theological reflection, pointing out the similarity of it to that of Adam and Eve's fall, reviewing the stealing pears event within Augustine's Christian thought frame
