Abstract

In the study, the justice perception of William Godwin, who has been regarded as the most consistent defender of philosophical anarchism, was considered. Godwin evaluated justice isolated from law which is a concept related with the practices of the authority and developed a kind of justice perception based on value. While determining what justice was and how it could be obtained, freedom and equality were the basic concepts that he put in the center of his ideas. In this respect, he always regarded freedom as the most basic principle of human existence and he thought that the realization of freedom is based on the obtaining of justice, and the obtaining of justice is based on the destruction of all the privileges present in the society and the acceptance of all the people equal
