Abstract

Nella prima parte dell’articolo si analizza la relazione tra giustizia e compassione confrontandoli con i concetti di grazia, morale pietà e amore . Nella seconda parte si mostra come Camus usi questi termini ne L’uomo in rivolta. Si focalizza in due capitoli: quello che riguarda la rivoluzione francese e quello che tratta Kaliayev e la rivoluzione russa . L’ultima parte dell’articolo si occupa della famosa dichiarazione di Camus: « Amo la giustizia, ma al di sopra della giustizia amo mia madre».In its first part, the article analyzes the relations between justice and compassion by comparing them with related notions like grace, morals, pity and love . In its second part, it shows how Camus uses these terms in Man in Revolt. It focuses on two chapters: the chapter about the French Revolution and the one about Kaliayev and the Russian revolutionaries . The last part deals with Camus' famous declaration: «I love justice, but I love my mother above justice»
