Freedom and Simulation Hypothesis

Abstract

Usually, it is believed that to act freely requires the ability to do otherwise (call it the avoidability claim). Here I want to explore the influence of the truth of Simulation Hypothesis on the avoidability claim. And I shall also say something about how an agent in a simulation can be different from an agent in a usual Frankfurt-Style Case.
