Verbal Forms In Pushkin's Verses: Expression Of Tenses In The Originals And In Translations

Abstract

The author of this paper discusses the expression of tenses in poetic texts given in Russian and Serbian languages. The translation of two Pushkin's poems has been used to show the relation of a Serbian translator towards the original in the domain of expressing tenses through various verbal forms
