Abstract

Working from photographs, I have edited the previously unpublished scholia on Porphyry's Isagoge and Aristotle's Categories contained in the Vatican manuscript Urb. gr. 35. My edition consists of a text, with critical apparatus, apparatus of parallel passages, indexes of passages referred to and of proper names, and a brief introduction discussing the manuscript, the nature of the scholia, and their relationship to other ancient commentaries on the same texts, both extant and lost
