Abstract

Le terme « éternel » dans le Traité théologico-politique renvoie à trois types de signification: les raisons de la perpétuité dans le cas de l'État; l'ordre immuable des lois de la nature; l'inscription des lois divines dans le cœur humain. In the Theologico-political treatise, the term « eternal » has three meanings: the reasons of perpetuity in the case of the State; the immutable order of natural laws; the inscription of divine laws in the human heart
