Abstract

For thirty years now X. Léon-Dufour has reviewed most of the studies that have appeared on John. In successive waves he has focused on commentaries, John’s relation to the Synoptics, and the Johannine milieu. He gave special attention to his own interests in symbolic language, synchronic readings, and the place of the Holy Spirit
