Abstract

/// The present paper intends to be an examination of how the Merleau-pontyan commentary on the critical project of classical racionalism binds up with the thesis by which Maurice Merleau-Ponty describes the speech phenomenon. The author sets out an understanding of how, according to Merleau-Ponty, the experience of speech can put to work and posits thoughts but at the same time also turns itself into forgetfulness, to the point of making us believe–as it was the case with classical rationalism–in the prevailing and autonomous character of thought.
