Abstract

In dem Artikel werden verschiedene Bedeutungen der Worte ‚to recognize‘ und ‚recognition‘ analysiert und systematisiert. Dabei ist insbesondere der Unterschied zwischen einem epistemischen und einem normativen Bedeutungscluster relevant. Dem ersten Cluster werden vier, dem zweiten fünf verschiedene Bedeutungen zugeordnet.
