Abstract

The rise of China's environmental history and academic origins, Chinese scholars have conducted a more systematic analysis and summary, and the formation of two types of typical narrative. On this basis, it is worth further consideration is an important question is, how to treat foreign environment, and after the introduction of the history of Chinese scholars involved in many areas of research subjects for the current construction of China's environmental history of the meaning. If the foreign environment, history shows us the results of environmental history of disciplinary framework to build a blueprint, then, the Chinese scholar's research provides us with the construction of the cornerstone of China's environmental history of discipline and brick. So far, China's environmental history is still in the design of academic buildings, the construction will be a huge, difficult project. There are two kinds of views for the academic originations and development of environmental history in China by Chinese scholars' relatively systematic analyses. However, it is still an important question to reconsider how to evaluate the influence and the significances of environmental history abroad and China's former relating scholarships on the construction of contemporary China's environmental history. If the achievements of environmental history abroad show us a blueprint, China's former relating scholarships provide us the base and foundation for construction of environmental history as a discipline in China.
