Abstract

"Las leyes causales psicológicas ceteris paribus: ¿con excepciones o heteronómicas?" Una creencia de origen y circulación popular es la que afirma que, por lo regular, la conducta intencional de una persona debe ser explicada, y con ello, hasta cierto punto, predicha, a partir de aquello que se piensa que es lo más propio de cualquier persona, a saber: sus estados mentales, y particularmente sus creencias y sus deseos. El objetivo del autor es, en este contexto y dando por sentado la pertinencia de las explicaciones intencionales, defender una idea compartida por Fodor y Davidson acerca de la necesidad de leyes causales psicológicas de naturaleza peculiar, a saber, leyes entendidas de manera estricta y no homonómica . "œThe psychological causal laws ceteris paribus: with exceptions or heteronomicals?" A common and popular belief is the one that declares that, usually, the intentional behavior of an individual must be explained, and therefore, predicted, based on what is thought to he inner self of any person: his mental states and, over all, his beliefs and wishes. The aim of this author is to defend the causal laws of peculiar nature, that is, strict and not homonomical laws
