Abstract

Following the trail of the foucaultian critique of modern thought, the aim will be to generate the framework in which this thought may raise the question of infinity. Such framework is none other than finitude, understood not so much as a concept but as a form of problematization, precisely the characteristic of Modernity. Starting from this form the thought which still today is for us contemporary may ask in different ways the question of infinity. Basically in two ways, depending on the interpretation of finitude that operates in these questionings : as dialectical infinitude and as wordly infinitude.
