The Epistemological Quest: From the Possibility of Experience to the Possibility of Communication
Abstract
Although modern analytical philosophy differs from Kant´s strategy in meeting the epistemological quest of the form “what are the conditions for the possibility od X”, one may, nevertheless, find Kantian legacy among some leading philosophers of the analytical tradition who reconsider the epistemological quest. The overall aim of this paper is to illustrate this claim through comparing Kant´s approach to the possibility of experience with Davidson´s approach to the possibility of community to see how many Kantian traces are hidden in the background of Davidsonian approach
