Abstract

In his Twentieth-Century American Philosophy Through Nineteen Portraits, Dr. Maior S. Kelner plumbs original sources to create biographical sketches, in philosophical and historical context, of the 19 greatest contributors to the development of philosophy in the twentieth century United States.The volume consists of 18 author's sheets, with a table of contents, a foreword, six chapters, explanatory notes, an epilogue, a selective bibliography. It is intended for philosophers, historians, and those interested in cultural history, and may be used as a textbook on the history of American philosophy.
