Abstract

In this paper, inspired by Davidson and Wittgenstein on the CD-based "to ... as ..." analysis, attempted to create a metaphor for the working mechanism of similarity and how this mechanism may be the appropriate pieces of the operation conditions, and the author of this a Harley and put forward the theory and semantics - ontological analysis were compared. In this paper, I try to put forward a theory about work mechanism of metaphors and its appropriate conditions, enlightened by Davidson and based on the Wittgenstein's analysis of "see ... as ...", and check my theory against Harre's semantic-ontology method
