Abstract

Leopold von Ranke and Schelling himself thought that the king was Schellings best student - a sovereign for whom the greatest possible support and promotion of science and the humanities was the main task. This work attempts to characterize Schellings philosophy in a manner in which it presents itself in precise answers for a student asking persistent questions.
