Abstract

The question of the commons has become particularly relevant today. This article analyses the difficulties in addressing the multitude of meanings of the term and the diversity of approaches to it. This conceptual review aims to point out the tensions between different perspectives as well as to delimit our field of study, in order to propose a change of focus that makes visible the androcentric bias of the ethical and political discourses of modernity. Finally, the importance of care as the axis of any common project that takes into account human vulnerability is highlighted.
