As Influências do Pensamento de John Dewey no cenário educacional brasileiro

Abstract

Este artigo foi escrito a partir dos estudos realizados durante a pesquisa deMestrado em Educação da Universidade Estadual de Londrina. Os resultados obtidos com essa pesquisa vieram a se tornar a dissertação intituladaO pragmatismo de John Dewey e a Educação infantil Municipal de Londrina: relações possíveis? Os estudos em específico, deste artigo, procuram delinear como o pensamento educacion al deweyano teve entrada em nosso país e a partir de que autores foi propagada as suas idéias. O artigo também faz uma breve relação entre a escrita do documento O Manifesto dos Pioneiros da Educação Nova: ao povo e ao Governo e as idéias educacionais proposta pelo filósofo norte americano John Dewey. This article was written from research studies conducted during the Master's in Education from State University of Londrina. The results from this research were to become the dissertation entitled The pragmatism of John Dewey and Children's Education of Londrina County: relationships possible?. Studies in specific, this article seeks to outline how the Deweyan educational thought was coming into our country and from what the authors was propagated their ideas. The article also makes a brief relationship between the writing of the document The Manifest of the Pioneers of New Education: the people and government and educational ideas proposed by the North American philosopher John Dewey
